COVID-19 Policy

The safety of our patients and staff is our priority here at Lincoln Road Dermatology. We appreciate your understanding as our policies and registration format becomes more streamline in order to create a touchless experience. These efforts will allow us to focus on delivering you the excellent, personalize care you are accustomed to while maintaining a safe environment.

  • Prescreening and Rescheduling of Symptomatic Patients. If you have had fever, cough, shortness of breath, diarrhea or have had a known exposure to someone with COVID-19 within the last 2 weeks, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. 48 hours before your appointment you will be screened again. If you have symptoms of COVID-19, click here for testing centers in our area.

  • Patient Mask Requirement. In accordance with CDC recommendations & Miami-Dade's city order, all patients are required to bring a surgical mask, cloth mask, scarf or bandana from home and wear this over your mouth & nose for the entirety of your visit. This includes the brief time you may be in the exam room alone. Please do not wear a mask with a valve. Unfortunately, our office is not able to provide patients with a mask at this time.

  • Limiting Guests. Please do not bring a guest to your appointment unless the patient is a minor or requires assistance. Guests, other than caregivers, will be asked to wait outside the practice.

 

  • Precompleting Visit Paperwork: We strongly encourage patients to complete the check-in paperwork prior to your appointment to limit time spent in the lobby. When your appointment is scheduled, you will receive an email from noreply@ezderm.com with subject “Email Verification from Lincoln Road Dermatology” to sign up for our patient portal. Please verify your email and then complete your intake forms. Please sign our office consent forms (Under "Appointments" at the top right). For detailed instructions, click here.

  • Credit card on file (CCOF) and prepayment. CCOF and Applepay acceptance allow for touchless transactions. 

 

  • Limited Lobby Access. Lobby capacity will be limited & chairs will be spaced apart. If you prefer to wait in your car, call or call 305-397-8622 & we will begin the check-in process & bring you straight back to your exam room upon arrival.

 

  • Social Distancing. We ask all patients to remain 6 feet from our staff and other patients at all times unless otherwise required for your examination.

 

  • Sanitization. We will ask all patients to sanitize their hands upon entering the office and have many sansitization stations throughout the office and within the building. As per usual protocol, we will continue to disinfect the patient rooms between each patient in addition to sanitizing all high-touch surfaces throughout the day. High grade, commercial air purifiers are in use.

  • Staff Protective Equipment. All staff will be wearing protective gear which may include masks, gloves and face shields.
