Dr. Marcy Alvarez is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical, laser and cosmetic dermatology. With more than 20 years of dermatology experience, she provides thorough, physician-led care tailored to each patient.

A Florida native, Dr. Alvarez graduated with honors from the University of Miami, earning dual majors in Philosophy and Microbiology & Immunology. She then completed her medical school and osteopathic dermatology residency training in the greater New York area, followed by private practice in . After graduating from a Bronx-based osteopathic dermatology residency, Dr. Alvarez gained extensive experience in private practice settings in Tribeca and East Hampton and a hospital-based academic role at Elmhurst Hospital Center, an affiliate of Mount Sinai.

Dr. Alvarez returned to Miami Beach to founded Lincoln Road Dermatology in April 2011. Over the past 15 years, her practice has become a trusted destination for patients from around the globe, offering expert care and a personalized approach to dermatology in the heart of South Beach.

 

Outside of the office, Dr. Alvarez enjoys padel, traveling, entrepreneurship, and spending quality time with her husband, their two children, and their Havanese, Mochi.
