We are always available for both non-insured and insured patients.


Please check with your insurance provider to ensure our office is participating with your specific plan or if you can visit us under your out of network benefits.


All deductible and copay/co-insurance is due at time service is rendered. If your insurance is found to be inactive or we cannot verify the your benefits or proof of active medical insurance, payment in full is expected and we will provide you with the papers to submit your claim directly.

When we "check your insurance", it is simply to get basic information and to see if it is active. We cannot tell you if we participate in your exact plan, specific plan benefits, need for a referral/prior authorization or if the reason for your visit will be cover by your plan. Kindly call your insurance beforehand if you need any clarification of the benefits or limitations of your specific plan.

**ALL INTERNATIONAL PLANS OPERATING THROUGH AMERICAN INSURANCE CARRIERS WILL REQUIRE UPFRONT PAYMENT. Typically these plans lack coverage for dermatologic care given and our experience is that no payment is received from the insurance and that you, the patient, are often responsible for the remaining costs. It can take approximately 2-3 months for an international insurance to finalize responsibilities. We can provide you with all your payment documents to receive reimbursement directly from your international insurer.

*NOT PAR - means we do not participate with these plans. You can still receive medical care from our office as a self-pay option and submit your bill to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Check with your insurance to see if you have out of network benefits or ask for our self pay rates.
